Ingredients:
- 2 Yellowfin Tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, grated ginger, minced garlic, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the Yellowfin Tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the steaks are well coated on all sides. Marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to 1 hour, allowing the flavors to penetrate the fish.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and reserve the marinade for basting. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels to promote better searing.
- Place the Yellowfin Tuna steaks on the preheated grill or grill pan. Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the steaks. Baste the steaks with the reserved marinade while cooking.
- Remove the tuna steaks from the grill when they are seared on the outside but still slightly pink in the center. Be careful not to overcook, as Yellowfin Tuna is best enjoyed medium-rare.
- Transfer the grilled tuna steaks to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds to add a touch of freshness and crunch.
- Serve the Spicy Sriracha Yellowfin Tuna steaks hot as a main dish, accompanied by a side of steamed rice or grilled vegetables.
