Preparation Time: 15 mins Cooking Time: 15 mins Serving: 4
Ingredients:
- 4 Pork shoulder steaks
- Salt
- Pepper
- All-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Optional seasonings or spices of your choice (e.g., paprika, garlic powder, onion powder)
- Season the pork shoulder steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides. You can also add any additional seasonings or spices according to your taste preferences.
- Place the flour in a shallow dish or plate. Dredge each pork shoulder steak in the flour, ensuring it is evenly coated on all sides.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add enough oil to cover the bottom of the pan, creating a shallow frying environment.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated pork shoulder steaks to the pan. Be cautious to avoid overcrowding the pan; fry in batches if necessary.
- Fry the steaks for approximately 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the steaks.
- Once cooked, transfer the fried pork shoulder steaks to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. This helps maintain their crispiness.
- Allow the steaks to rest for a few minutes before serving to retain their juiciness. Serve them hot with your favorite side dishes or sauces.
