How To Prepare Citrus Garlic Baked Ocean Trout? 😍😍🌈🌈

    Prep Time:
    30 mins

    Cook Time:
    30 mins

    Total Time:
    1 hr

    Yield:
    4 servings

    Ingredients:

    • 4 ocean trout fillets
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • Fresh dill, chopped (for garnish)

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and set aside.
    2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. This will be the marinade for the trout fillets.
    3. Place the trout fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the fillets are well coated on both sides. Let them marinate for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
    4. Transfer the marinated trout fillets to the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the fillets.
    5. Bake the trout fillets in the preheated oven for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking time may vary slightly depending on the thickness of the fillets, so keep an eye on them.
    6. Once cooked, remove the trout fillets from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. This will help the flavors to develop further.
    7. Serve the ocean trout fillets garnished with fresh chopped dill. You can also squeeze some additional lemon juice over the top if desired.
