How To Prepare Baked School Shark With Herb Crust? 😍😍🌈🌈

Ingredients:

  • 4 school shark fillets (about 150-200g each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Pat the school shark fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, dill, minced garlic, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and mix until well combined.
  4. Place the school shark fillets in a baking dish. Drizzle the remaining olive oil and lemon juice over the fillets. Evenly distribute the herb breadcrumb mixture over the top of each fillet, pressing down gently to adhere.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
